Getting new floors is easy… right?

July 8, 2022

Somehow, the sun is shining through the blackout curtains you bought. Don’t open your eyes; there’s too much to do today. Covid mandates have started lifting, so some friends are coming over tonight–but you’re not ready. To-do lists and projects race through your mind; the dishwasher is leaking, or the walls need to be painted or the litter box clean or… You get the idea, you’re a homeowner, and it’s all on you. You’ve got this.

You can almost hear the house groan as you strain to wake up. Swinging yourself over the side, you dig your toes into the carpet. The carpet. The damned carpet.

Staring at the wall, you keep your eyes from looking at the old thing. Especially that spot in the corner where the cat peed. Or was it last night’s wine? Those are two very different things.

No longer. You’ve been thinking about getting new flooring for ages, and now you know it’s time. The sun is out. Today is going to be a good day. Today is the day. What’s the point of a tax return if you can’t use it?

As you get ready for the day, you’re probably wondering what most homeowners do when faced with a flooring challenge: Where do I start?

And if that’s not your first question, then maybe it’s your second. Or third. It doesn’t matter. It’s definitely a top-ten question, amongst others.

Should you do it yourself? How much would the new carpet cost? Or hardwood–or laminate or whatever material? Do I measure the square footage?

Then you remember why you never got around to the project in the first place. There’s just too much to wrap your mind around. What happens when you get a quote from a contractor? Where do you find contractors? Do people still use phone books for these things? What if the quality is poor, and what if it costs too much? Do they have the suitable material? Isn’t there a considerable shortage crisis? That’s got to be expensive.

The point is, you’re not alone. Perhaps you’re a go-getter, and you think of rolling up your sleeves and doing the tear-out and removal and installation yourself. Good for you. But, do you have the time? Maybe, who are we to judge. You could be a flooring installer yourself reading this blog post and in that case. Stop reading. Why are you even here?

If you’re like the rest of us, then you’re invited to keep reading. This blog post is for you.

So now we bring you to the whole point of this blog post. We have a solution for you. Yeah, that’s right–this is a sell, and we know it. We’re not ashamed of it because it’s a damn good sell, like that damned cat pee carpet stain.

Homze is precisely what you’ve been looking for. You might not even know it, but it is. It’s an app, and it’s a website, it’s everything a homeowner ever wants in a solution for new flooring. Not only is the platform easy to use, but it will take you 10 minutes to fill out a form. That’s it, and you’re done. Yeah, we even used a stopwatch.

Imagine not having to go through 4 or 5 different quotes, trying to compare them. Imagine prices guaranteed to be cheaper. Imagine materials costs that aren’t upsold. Imagine installation starting within a week, with no delays.

Now, Imagine the best floors your toes could feel. Imagine your friends coming over for dinner and saying things like, “Hey, did you get new floors? They look so nice, and wow, you’re the best and coolest homeowner we know,” rather than “Your house stinks of old soup.” You get the idea.

We want you to join us as we show you what Homze is. And what we can do to save more of that tax return. See you in the next post.
